Associate, Client Partnership

Working primarily with the Senior Associate and Client Partnership positions across all our Global Prairie offices, this individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Support in development of issues management and media relations strategies and supporting materials, including talking points, press releases, Q&As, and internal communications materials
  • Ability to drive a project with high-quality, detailed-oriented deliverables from start to finish
  • On-time and on-budget delivery of projects, in coordination with project management
  • Understanding of current media trends and ability to work directly with media
  • Strong understanding of client’s business and project strategy
  • Coordination and management of ongoing client communications
  • Commitment to establishing strong working relationships across roles and functions with integrated internal team
  • Eagerness to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Development of new proposals and estimates, in partnership with project management
  • Supporting new business scouting and proposal development
  • Tracking and monitoring media and results
  • Regular consumption of the media to stay up-to-date on media and industry trends

Additionally, the ideal candidate must meet these qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of professional experience
  • Relevant positions in marketing and communications, data science, consulting, or similar areas of experience
  • Bachelors or graduate degree
  • Willingness and availability to travel, and to work non-traditional hours
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to multitask; ability to follow-through on many matters·
  • Team player with a proven ability to work well with a diverse group of professionals
  • Effective communication skills – long form written, informal spoken, and formal presentation style
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Fluency/proficiency in foreign languages (especially German, Portuguese, French, Spanish) a strong plus

The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion.  Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds.  The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle.  This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
